The Little Lilacs Program

A world of empowered, confident, and community-driven women creating positive impacts in the world around them. Every strong woman starts somewhere, and that can be a part of the Little Lilacs program.

The Little Lilacs Program is not a competition. It is held in conjunction with the Miss Wausau Area Scholarship Competition to provide the Little Lilacs with the opportunity to meet mentors through the Miss Wausau Area & Miss Wausau Area’s Teen titleholders and candidates.

Here’s the logistics about the program:

  • Little Lilacs are any girls ages 5-13 interested in participating.

  • November 7th, 2026, beginning in late morning. Further details provided after signup.

  • A parent must attend with the Little Lilac.

  • The cost to register each Little Lilac is $45. Lunch and a T-shirt is provided for each Lilac!

    • Crowns and sashes are provided, but must be returned at the end of the day.
The crown and sashes are available for purchase for an additional $80.
